The CH3 step charger is a compact, effective and robust battery charger built using Switch Mode technology. It is a constant voltage
charger with a number of unique functions. Once the battery has been
charged to approximately 80-80% of its full capacity the charger
switches to a "timer mode" to fully charge the battery as
quickly as possible. The voltage is then reduced to a level where the
charger can remain connected to the battery continuously (see the
illustration).
